Excerpt: What dangers do runaway demigods Luke and Thalia face on their way to Camp Half-Blood? Are Percy and Annabeth up to the task of rescuing stolen goods from a fire-breathing giant who doesn’t take kindly to intruders? How exactly are Leo, Piper, and Jason supposed to find a runaway table, dodge a band of party-loving Maenads (who just might be a little psychotic), and stave off a massive explosion…all in one hour or less?
1. The Diary of Luke Castellan.- Following a Magical Goat wasn’t Luke’s idea of a good time- seeing Luke Again kinda broke my heart but it was nice seeing it from his POV this time and his life before Camp Half-Blood and Thalia and how they took care of one another knowing he wasn’t always the way he was in Percy Jackson and The Olympians.
2.  Percy Jackson and the Staff of Hermes. – Somebody has stolen Hermes staff and the god is not happy neither are George and Martha) so who does he go to to get it back that’s right Percy Jackson- this story was amusssssing….sorry I had to. with danger and hilarity ensuing we see Percy and Annabeth working together once again to retrieve Hermes caduceus and get back on time for their Anniversary dinner.
3. Leo Valdez and the Quest for Buford.- Paging Leo McSizzle… welcome back Leo, Jason and Piper back. this story was so amusing I really like Leo he reminds me of someone I went to school with.
What I Loved about this story- I loved that we got to see other character’s that were in the books but didn’t have as much time in the spot light (good Luke and Thalia) and some one on one time with Percy and Annabeth as well as what Leo had to do in order to get the Argo 2 ready for her maiden flight.
What I disliked about this book- there wasn’t much I didn’t like about this book I saw character’s I love and character’s I learned to like more then I did.
